I have decided to pray The Office of the Dead for the Souls in Purgatory once a week,
if there is a day that doesn't already have a set Office.

Whenever someone who is family or friend dies, I pray the Divine Office for the Dead even if the day already has its own propers.
Monday is the day set aside for the Holy Souls in Purgatory and sometimes on that day I read the propers of the Requiem Mass for them.
