It sort of gets my goat when I hear people refer to this holiday as "Turkey Day."
Hello!  Where on the calendar does it say Turkey Day?
It's Thanksgiving Day.  Or rather, it is the official American celebration of Thanksgiving Day.
Because, after all, every day should be a day for giving thanks.
