Well, Planned Parenthood does it again! Prayers for abortion rights? Honestly, how sick can they get? Then again, we know all too well that that organization will stop at nothing to further its agenda! We need to fight these so-called "prayers" with REAL prayers!

More About My Offline Collection

Yesterday, I mentioned that I've started to collect decorative magnets, and promised to tell about the kinds I collect, and the kinds I don't collect. To start with what I do not collect: I don't collect magnets with place names. There are collectors, of course, who specialize in souvenir magnets. I do not collect magnets in the shapes of letters or numbers. I do not collect holiday-themed magnets. I don't collect clip magnets. And I do not want square, round, or rectangular magnets with pictures painted on them. So what do I collect? I collect shaped and colored magnets. I'm interested in magnets representing flowers, fruits, birds, fish, animals, foods (I'd love a magnet in the shape of a hamburger, for example!), storybook and nursery rhyme characters, cartoon and comic book characters, whimsical magnets, magnets that look like miniatures of things sold in stores. For example, magnets like these:

They are not in my collection, but that's an example of what I'm looking for. So now, I have four collections, three online, and one offline.

Something Tangible

I love my working on my three online collections: my Rosary Art Collection, my Vintage Media Collection, and my Chocolate Collection. But lately, I began thinking that I would also like to have a collection that is not on the computer. I wanted a collection that I could physically handle; something tangible. However, it had to be something that was affordable, and would take up as little space as possible. Above all, of course, it had to be something that I would enjoy collecting. What did I decide to collect? Decorative magnets! I started my collection by moving a magnet from the downstairs hall radiator, where it was serving np purpose whatsoever, to the door of my refrigerator. I was delighted to find a picture of that magnet online!

And yes, I am also buying magnets for my collection. [note that I said "affordable," not "free" earlier in this post! :)] However, I have set a limit on how much I will spend on my collection each month, with any leftover money carrying over into the next month.
