Joachim and Anne

During this Christmas Season, I've been thinking, wondering, about Our Lady's parents, Joachim and Anne.   Were they still living when Jesus was born?  Did they know Him when He was little?  And, if they did, did they know Who He was... or did they just think of Him as their cute little Grandson?
