Among them, very much among them, was Davy Jones of The Monkees.
I was shocked and saddened to learn of his death today. God rest his soul.
Ironically, I recently set my DVR to record reruns of The Monkees, starting
with the pilot episode.

I also loved Davy Jones! I was only 7 at the time the Monkees debuted, but I loved him and still enjoy watching the shows! I recently saw a PBS 60's revival show which he hosted. The Brady Bunch episode he appeared in remains one of my favorites. He will be missed...
