Now I can read the books of the Bible in their chronological and historical context.
I am a Jewish convert to Catholicism, blogging on a variety of subjects. The motto for this blog is: "Rejoice always, pray constantly, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you." 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18, Revised Standard Version, Catholic Edition.

That's a handy chart. I reference mine occasionally. Do you attend Great Adventure Bible studies?
Tyndale published, a number of years ago, a Bible arranged in chronological order. A "gimmicky" Bible that I don't own and have never perused, it's an interesting notion.
I do wonder - I'm studying psalms now which are quite a mishmash, chronologically speaking - just how far that Tyndale edition goes in maintaining proper chronology. And I suppose it says nothing about when the documents recording the historical events were actually set down, much less published in "present form."
Moonshadow, I am disabled and can seldom get to Mass, let alone attend Bible studies.
I agree about the Psalms. Maybe I can find a website that lists them in chronological order.
Well, that was easy! I found a listing of the Psalms in chronological order, and in context with the other books of the Old Testament.
Here is the URL, and I'll also be posting the link on my blog.
