The Parents of My Patron Saint

What joy, this morning, to see the parents of my Patron Saint canonized!
(Thank God for EWTN.)
And how appropriate that the parents of the Patron Saint of the Missions should
be canonized on World Mission Sunday.

Unexpected Twists

My AU Waltons prequel, The Poem, has taken some twists that I didn't expect.
Martha Rose Coverdale has become more important to the story than I had
meant her to be.
One thing I've learned is that if I want to take a story in one direction, but it wants to
go in another, it's a good idea to let the story lead me.
