I am too disgusted to write much of a comment!  Let's pray that Governor Jerry Brown DOES NOT sign this bill into law.

Written By the Finger of God: Hi, I'm Anabelle. I'm an Internet-holic.: 1.   Know what that is?   That is what happens when you get sucked into Pinterest.   You burn a little girl’s grilled cheese sandwich...

I read this post, and I just HAD to share it.  I'll be clicking on at least SOME of the links.
My favorite picture is the one of the Monastery in Hanceville, Alabama.  Those of you who are familiar with my blog can guess why!

My Baba's Home Town

I came across this article about my Baba's home town. [Vyznytsia is another name for Viznitz.]
If the cemetery shown is indeed in Viznitz, then many of my ancestors are buried there.

Well, it Makes Sense!

Mom was visiting my niece and her husband  this past week.  Their little son, who is about to turn five, was asked what grade he was going to be in this year.
He answered that he was going into the fifth grade, because he is going to be five years old!
Well, it makes a lot of sense!

That reminds me of the scene in Beverly Cleary's Ramona the Pest, when Ramona went to school by herself for the first time. Her mother told her to leave the house at a quarter after eight.
Ramona knew that a quarter is 25 cents, so a quarter after eight must be 25 minutes after eight.
And, come to think of it, my nephew is about the same age as Ramona was in the book!

Encouraging news about EWTN's Fr. Anthony

Fr. Anthony hopes to be back on the air in the near future.  Oh, HOW I'm praying for that to happen! https://franciscanmissionaries.c...
